Pedal risers, available in different sizes, come with velcro attached top and bottom. Sized to fit the most commonly available pedals, but custom sizes available on demand. Decent price too. Perfect for raising those awkward to reach pedals on the back row.....

No affiliation other than being a happy customer...

Nope, this is just an unnecessary use of non-recyclable plastics. I'd be more interested in 'green' materials instead, but it's also not a problem that actually bothers me either, so clearly I'm not this specific target audience.

I didn't spot that they are plastic when I first read this, but I totally agree.

Why not use a piece of wood?

This. A piece of cardboard with Velcro on each side would do exactly the same thing and you could cut it to the exact size of each pedal. But honestly, who needs this?

I have some pedal risers, bought years ago I can’t even remember where from ( possibly Diago). Folded metal so you can trail cables underneath the pedals as well. One standard Boss(ish) size.

Pedaltrain used to do nice folding metal ones. I assume they still do. I had a wedge shaped one that was really useful

Something some people could make themselves, sure. Anyone with a 3D printer, certainly.

Or a saw and some ply.

I’ve made these out of wood for years, cut ply to shape and spray black if needed. Ply allows easy shape changes and drilling holes for cables if needed, and can glue two layers together for various thicknesses

I have spacers like this that I built myself from ply beneath my JRAD Rocket and amp footswitch. They work a treat and were just from offcuts.

They are useful but a specific thing from plastic seems a bit unnecessary

    I know people I wouldn't trust with a saw.

Sure making your own out of ply is great if…

    you already have some ply
    you already have a saw/jigsaw
you have a means of holding the ply when cutting
you have space to do the cutting
you have space to store your tools and surplus ply

…or you can just order one of these.

I made some out of an old Ikea shelf I think, definitely a use for them on flat boards with certain pedals. Much rather them not being made out of plastic as others have said though.

Depends what plastic it is, ABS is recyclable, and I'm guessing that's what it will be made from.

The product pages specify recyclable and industrially compostable PLA that can be returned to them for end of life processing.

I bet half of you have plastic fucking Behringer pedals anyway
