Nifty little trick for your pedals maybe?

What's Hot

On a snug pedalboard I'm sometimes knocking the pots on a pedal when switching on another. Just cut up a piece of coolant hose, taped together then glued.
Doesn't mark your pedal and easy to lift off for adjustment if needed.
Not sure if someone has come up with this exact idea? But it's cheap and easy to do.

Another I spotted on the Jason Isbell rig rundown is grolsch washer under the knobs. Just makes them a little firmer to turn I guess

Ah, yeah I like that. I have trays of washers in my workshop, copper, ali, rubber, might give it a go.

I have washers under the knobs on my 3leaf audio Wonderlove deluxe... Makes them tight and stops nightmare scenarios.

I've seen people do this with a (wide) rubber band, never tried it myself though

I have been using black rubber washers from the plumbers’ merchant down the road for a long time, does the trick for me, doesn’t immobilise the controls but they are much more tended to stay put. I think I confused the guy at the counter though trying to explain what I wanted them for :-)

p.s. that green Amp 11 looks very tasty

Between straplocks and er... pedal knob stiffeners, a guitar player could get through a lot of Grolsch.

This reminds me actually, Ive been meaning to get one of these for my RD because it's actually quite easy to knock the volume controls when setting up on stage in a hurry & in the dark

It's the £10 postage that puts me off. Nice though.

OK, just come up with a simpler method and works a treat...

@Petepassion That's nifty. What size (OD) hose are you using?

Potentially useful for onstage snacks as well.

28.5mm OD. I'm using silicone hose as it's a bit softer, so grips better

    A peculiar diet sir :)

Rubber sump bung washers with small, thin ali washers underneath to centralise on BOR and Timmy
