Just saw this...handwired with the ability to switch between tone stacks, sounds fun.

The might want to work on their demoing game though...the laser mic thing at the end made me absolutely cringe, not least because of the demo of it, but because I think they're aiming to fix a non-issue, or have overblown the issue...or maybe just over engineered the solution!

  • Good to know the turd board is made in England - hopefully it'll be rolled in glitter as well.

Sorry - was just a silly joke at the expense of the guy's pronunciation.  About 27 seconds in.

I wonder how much the switchable tone stack thing actually does - could be just a mid control sweep like the Blackstar ISF *.
    Looks tidily built though.

As for the mic laser sight... hmmm

    * I know that's probably an over-simplistic description of what the ISF does

Thought the wiring looked like a Dover, then Kee stepped in and confirmed it. Well made so good luck to them.

It's a voicing switch, it is easy to switch most tone stacks between Fender/Tweed/Marshall etc Normally when you do this there is one setting that you like most with a certain gain level.

Wow, those incremental controls sound like a good idea!
I wonder if they’ll be at the Birmingham guitar show.
    Karma......

The layout looks like an early 70s Hiwatt.

The designer is Kee Mayer, "Former Engineer / operations manager at Hiwatt UK", although he currently has Dover Amplification in his Facebook profile.
