Was just thinking the same - is it only me who got back from the guitar show and got straight on it?

I do have the wood resting in my room - I might get an opportunity to saw this weekend. But no chance I'll get anywhere near any paint!

    Quick and dirty build here.

Few runs in the Lidl paint, but who cares? It’s going to be covered by Velcro anyway.
Tempted to throw some glow in the dark paint along the extremities to show the way on darker stages.

Nice and easy to build. Feels robust and well up to the job.

Sorry about the mess in the background. Clutter in the shed.

Heres my sons build - 70cm slats - just needs velcro.

@mrkb - oooo, the classy look. I was hoping somebody would do one like that!

I've just cut some Sapele slats, giving 15" of pedal space.  Small but classy - not sure it will need the middle support with this wood and dimensions

Some cool looking boards, the natural wood style would work particularly well for an acoustic 'board

I was more imagining a reverse Moog style colour scheme with rich mahogany type wood next to the black, but in reality most of the wood will be hidden by pedals from the players POV

Nice builds @WezV and @mrkb - I'd envisaged an oil or varnish finish for mine. I've just got to figure out how wide it needs to be.. it really is a great design idea.
