To be honest I didnt know they did a straight princeton clone, they look great!

 But...pretty sure Im just after the Columbia with the slightly higher power and 12" speaker.

It isn't a straight clone.
It has a mid range control like the Columbia.

But no worries.

Good luck with the hunt pal. I searched for around 6 months about 2 years ago. I almost imported one at one stage. Very rare and I suspect it’s because those who own them don’t want rid.

Yeah pretty set just on the LE Columbia at the moment.

Picked up the Wooly Coats recently off here (Need to do a NAD post when I get a chance) and its absolutely awesome so not really in any rush.  Ideally want to to see which one out of the Wooly Coats and a Columbia would work for me and sell the one that doesnt.

I've got a Columbia and recently played a Wooly Coats. I didn't get chance to try them side by side but they occupy similar sonic territory....if anything I'd say the Columbia is a tad warmer but then I've got it set for my ears, so the Wooly Coats may have been dialled in differently. If I didn't have the Columbia the WC would be at the top of my go to list.
