Non reverse Firebird case

Anyone had any experience of buying a hard case for a non reverse body Gibson Firebird?
Mine came with one but it is not great. 
Done a bit of searching and they seem to be a but thin on the ground.

i think you should get a mono bass case.

Shameless plug, but yes in my experience a Mono Vertigo bass case is the best way to transport a Firebird...and I'm selling mine. It's in perfect nick too.

^^ Either that or get a reverse 'Bird case and put your guitar in it upside down :-)

Have you already got the brown one from recent issues? The black custom shop one is a bit better if you can find one, the brown ones are quite cardboardy. In terms of brand new options I’m not sure.

Thanks for the suggestions. Bass case might well be the way to go. The case I have is an original 60's type, which doesn't have much support for the headstock.

If you looking at or willing to spend £200-£300, you can get a very good hard case custom made, though obviously the more features you want - things like a display window LEDs humidity monitoring and control, will add to the costs.
