Crap sky here in Co Durham, as it was last night. Gonna walk dog at 1am and that'll be it for me ... I'll see the aurora or I won't ... actually, when I think about it I haven't seen any decent displays during this millennium!

Clear skies here in Kent last night but no sign of the aurora. We get minimal light pollution here so I did see the ISS going over.

Too cloudy here in Whitby so nothing last night. Still, was blessed to see it on Friday. One of my bucket list items unexpectedly completed.

    Laugh, love, live, learn.

didn't make it as far south as me, though it was still a pretty spectacular sky last night, some really funky cloud formations and a new moon and all that.

I'm not locked in here with you, you are locked in here with me.

This was the view on Friday night, Bruton, Somerset.  I'm there a lot.

But of course this weekend I was in Dagenham.

I was at a gig in London on Friday night; as I was driving home my wife phoned me and told me to find somewhere to pull over and look at the sky through my phone. It was amazing, I've never seen anything like it.

When I got home I went into the garden with my camera, but it was dying down by then. Still stunning, but not as spectacular as earlier.

    This is from my phone:

And this is from my camera:

(I used a fisheye lens, wanted to catch as much of the sky as I could)
Too much gain... is just about enough \m/

I'm probably the only member of this forum mentioned by name in Whiskey in the Jar ;)
