Yeah, not difficult at all and even enjoyable – I soldered a few wires to connect the cavities and it felt like painting with solder.

I’ve been recording all afternoon. The rewire has completely transformed this guitar. The neck pickup sounds much clearer (cover grounded with the rest of the shielding + change to 500k pot), the signal to noise ratio is much greater now, and the out of phase sounds are great fun.
