It currently has a Seymour Duncan Custom in the bridge position, but the original pickup will come with it too.
Also comes with a nice soft bag.

It's a superb guitar, but I'm much more comfortable with a Les Paul, and I've found a nice Epi Les Paul that will do me just fine. So this must go.

£700.00 collected from Northants

The only possible trade I'm interested in would be a Bergantino CN112 bass cab!

And here is a short vid of our own DefaultM playing it (he was the previous owner) with his Axe-FX. He plays far better than I do as I'm a ham fisted bassist.

    That's a very good question.

I was under the impression that all CE22 were Wide Fat. (Doesn't feel fat to me!).

Is there a serial number checker wotsit that would tell me?

  • The fat doesn't feel fat but the thin does feel thin - if that makes sense.

If it is a post 2001 then it is definitely wide fat.  https://www.prsguitars.com/csc/year.html

"CLASSIC ELECTRIC 22: 1994 - Current. 22-fret versions of CE Bolt-on and CE Bolt-on Maple-Top. Mahogany body/ back from ’95 as well as stop-tail option. Solid Mahogany body discontinued in 2000, stop tailpiece & wide thin neck profile discontinued in 2001. Offered as wide fat, tremolo only from 2001."

  • So I'm none the wiser? :)

  • It's post 2001, more like a 2006 by that serial number. The Hot Hues colours were only introduced in '05 anyway. :)

Lol - I couldn't read the serial number without my glasses I was hoping you guys would sort it out amongst yourselves. I'm not even buying it! (I would if I had the cash though!)

    It's a 2006.

So that means wide fat I guess. Still slim to me!!

I've had a request for details of the gig bag so here are some photos

The best PRS guitars are pre-dinged PRS guitars.

They've been played in (and out), the price is a lot more justifiable, and you're not worried about causing £200 of resale damage by putting the first ding in it, so you play it more.

At the current price ... BARGAIN.  I'm de-guitaring, else I'd've had it.
Having trouble posting images here?  This might help.

SHHHH I'm not listening. For serious though, new job doesn't start until January so I wont get paid for another 5-6 weeks. And Christmas was not cheap. However, I will be earning about £900 more a month after tax  ;)

  • Also not buying guitars right now, but that's a cool guitar at a very tempting price. Someone's going to get a bargain.

Don't talk politics and don't throw stones. Your royal highnesses.

    Someone must want it!

It's as cheap as chips already so if you are waiting for a further price drop it won't be happening, and the shiny thing I want to buy is £625 and I need to cover the purchase completely or my wife will kill me! Again.

With an upfront security deposit of £1000 that is certainly possible!
