Ok...so if I google Teal Black...a vast array of possibles come up...what colour was this originally?

I assume the fading is all part of the process?
Im afraid I am not up on my PRS ....but I like the idea ;-)

I don't think it faded at all and the colour is at it was 20 years ago. Looks like teal black is just a fill colour for yellow. For me it doesn't really matter as it looks cool and plays great - what is more important here. There's no fade on any parts. There's some light buckle rush and few small lacquer chips. Normal player use but not abused.       Just a reminder, its not new guitar but will easily serve joy for next 20 years.

The top would originally have been the colour you can see under the pickup rings. In fact, it would have been close to the colour on the back and neck. Some colours just fade more than others.

    Hi Patrick

Really like your photography, very creative.

This had a really big deep-down-to-the-wood gash about 3/4" long on the top horn when Mansons sold it not so long ago, has that been repaired now?

Is it this one they were selling for £1399?  ;)

Getting a bit of deja vu here I think Patrick...

Wow, sold. Nice one. Was it for the £1950 you had it priced at?

Or did you just end it through embarrassment at being caught.

    Again.  :D

I didn't bought it from Masons. Got it as part exchange for my other guitar. It plays, feels and sounds great. I'm not bother much about every tiny scratch. It does the job!      I think the price is quite fear. You can  still buy one from Coda Music for 3k. http://www.coda-music.com/artist-amber-secondhand-p-21543.html.

Anyway ... thanks for the "help". Not available on here.

    It's strange...

On all your other for sale threads, when you flog some gear, you leave the title but just add "SOLD".
You also leave all the information untouched in your original post.

BUT, on this one, the thread title has all but been removed and all of the info in the original post has now disappeared.

It's almost as if you're trying to hide something ;)

For sale 1994 PRS Artist Series 2 II. This is an awesome old school, best quality PRS you can get. Old Artist series was made to perfection. Now they call it Private Stock. Got it as part exchange for my 59 LP. The guitar was played and has some small scratches here and there but nothing serious. Great player.

1950£ I'm in London but can post. Thx

Don't forget to take it off gumtree, ebay and all the other sites you have it listed on then...

    http://www.gumtree.com/sellerads/1115453619?page=1

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/music1stpp/m.html?item=141668038512

We really don't need people coming on here just to flip guitars and be economical with the truth.
