Vibrato pedal options.

Soooo... what are my options. Something that does the lofi junky/warped vinyl elastic band thing without the massive tone suck which makes muffs useless.

Nope don't fancy spending the £300 odd (?) on Warped mk2. Doesn't hurt if it does a good proper chorus too.

proper vibrato or weird warped noises?
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

Both in the same box would be preferable.

Behringer UV300 - sounds like the old Boss Vibrato pedal for pennies.

My mate has one, and I'm dead jealous (especially as I bought it for him for his 50th :/ )

Rather than double up I got the Vibe/Termelo TRex Viper - which is awesome

Big difference between Tremolo and Vibrato when talking about pedals.

@Lew another few ideas for you to chuck through your YouTube audition that haven't been mentioned:
Sonic Crayon Vessels End (if you can find one!)
    Holowon Tape Soup (cheaper option)
    Earthquaker Sea Machine V2
    Diamond Vibrato

The Behringer UV300 is useless if you want a really slow warbly Boards of Canada style vibrato.

Everyone's suggested all the usual expensive stuff so I will suggest something else. A Boss CE-3. Does slow vibrato brilliantly, a little bit noisy but can be modded.

After having the Warped Vinyl, Diamond, Pitch Pirate (very disappointing), I came to the conclusion that the simple stuff works best for me and the CE-3 is where my boat is.

Quite like the vibrato setting on the Fulltone Mini Deja Vibe - does the subtle Landau style vibrato quite adequately although it is very subtle!
    Seemed like a good idea.....

Yea I mean pitch vibrato rather than a tremolo. I've a Dr Scientist Tremoloessence en route for that. But thanks for the input all the same!

I'll have a look at the suggestions later after work and see what's goin on.

Thats a shame to hear that as the Pirate was top of my short list. What didn't you like?

Cheap and cheerful solution is the Danelectro Chicken salad optical vibe. Very good.

Couldn't agree more on the Chicken Salad - with a few simple tweaks it gave the Mini Deja vibe a bit of a run for the money - not just as deep throb though..
    Seemed like a good idea.....

It's very tweakable but the base vibrato sound just wasn't that great to me. I found myself much happier using old chorus pedals and sticking a dummy out in one of the two outputs.
