Yeah, it's kind of perverse but I actually really like the way it kind of lurches into action and takes a second or so to "spin up" when you engage it. Gives it real character and (for want of a better word) mojo...

Still really grateful for the input but I'm still looking for a Chorus/Vibrato not a Vibe ;-x the wider and freakier the better

It's very tweakable but the base vibrato sound just wasn't that great to me. I found myself much happier using old chorus pedals and sticking a dummy out in one of the two outputs.

  

Was it the DLX version with the delay on?
