Could you use it post amp to desk to give your sound a bit of a retro recorded sound? I had a Digitech Brian May pedal that had an awesome "sounds like it was recorded in the 70s" vibe to it

The retro vibe is a perfect description.

Can't wait to couple this with the El Cap, and def the Black Fountain...

I was really impressed when I tried one - even I managed a half decent version of the money solo (I think the double tracking effect sounds fantastic).

It sounds like you'd hope it would.

So we won't be seeing it in the classifieds anytime soon?

Absolutely zero chance of that Tom...

In fact, I'm thinking of building my whole board around it now.

I did say a mate of mine was raving about it purely as a distortion

Instant NPD superlatives are inversely proportional to the time owned. Basically I give it a week.

    noted
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.
