Only half an hour in... simply stunning...

The Saturation side (left) is worth the money alone. Honestly.

    'Kin mind blowing...

It does seem to suck all the colour out of the room though, which is a shame.

Would you like the name of a good photographer who could sort your pictures out for you? He specialises in pictures of pedals :D

poor guy gets a new pedal and all we can do is rip the piss...

I assume this will be in the classifieds by next thursday? :-P
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

    @Gavhaus - just testing mate !

    So, why so good ??

When you think about it, Im amazed it hasnt been done before like this... The Saturation is very very harmonic; Ive heard people say that this pedal has to be 'felt' to be believed, and they are right. Its like a lovely clipped tube amp, with a delightful subtle delay, chorus, flange etc mixed in.

You could build a whole album worth of signature sounds from this.

What does this pedal do exactly?

simply put... Saturation (light superb OD) on the LEFT (thanks Gav...) modulation in the form of double tracking on the right; blend of the two.

The double tracking is like Smiths, Icicle Works, Cult etc with a hint of light harmonic feedback. Ihave arrived with this guys... I fully expected to be sending it back.

Grrr, you're making me want one now and I'd ignored these when they came out as I didn't really understand what they're for.

is it essentially a chorus pedal with optional drive?

    No no no no !

I wish you could hear it; this is the pedal that the Warped Vinyl and the Lo Fi 'tried' to be...

You are going to cost me money I don't have! :-SS

I was liking the sound through headphones, but if it's that good I might have to take the plunge (checks how far to payday, and googles "are Mars bars a complete meal?").

I've watched plenty of demos of it and been relatively unmoved if I'm honest... But then everyone who has one raves about it.

i agree mate about the video quality. Its kinda like a blooming, amp at gig volume with lovely melodic overtones... Hard to describe, as you can see !

I think I'm probably not the target audience to be honest; I don't really trade in subtle as a rule. There are exceptions obviously, but generally I like the weirder stuff.

Could you use it post amp to desk to give your sound a bit of a retro recorded sound? I had a Digitech Brian May pedal that had an awesome "sounds like it was recorded in the 70s" vibe to it
Please note my communication is not very good, so please be patient with me

you play offset guitars which are the home of melodic/harmonic overtones.

you just dont need a pedal to get them ;-)
