Dave may have been easier to just type them out in one post :D and She's Electric rules Definitely Maybe out for me.

How so, She's Electric's not even ON Definitely Maybe....?!
Sorry digsys diner, both stand out as the worst songs on their respective albums. Though married with children is one of my favourite songs of all time, along with slide away.

The OP asks a good question as so many great albums have at least one filler track, often it's terrible to go with it. So few are actually perfect.

I've just realised another one though Rage Against the Machine - RATM

The Strokes - Is This It (the UK version)
    Jeff Buckley - Grace

Tempted to add In Rainbows but I always skip Faust Arp.
Good shout with The Strokes, fine album (I'm not a Jeff Beck fan though)

I don't agree, it's got Old Before I Die on it, which is abysmal.

Sing When You're Winning and Escapology are his best albums.

    A couple more come to mind;
Jethro Tull - Thick as a Brick
    The Who - Tommy
Muddy Waters - Live at Newport

A lot of great bands/albums mentioned so far, I almost included some Joy Division, Kansas and The Smiths but as much as I love a lot of their music I can't pull a single "complete" album out.  My favorite Kansas is "Two For the Show", a double live album that might have been better if they only released it as a single album with just the real stand outs(IMO).  I also like "Monolith" but never checked out "Audiovisions".   And besides Muddy Waters there's a lot of great blues albums out there, more thinking is due.

    Born to Run - Springsteen
    Marbles - Marillion
Black Sheets of Rain - Bob Mould.

    I'd argue Bruce has 3:

    Born To Run
Darkness on the Edge of Town
    Born In The USA

I'd add Kid A to the Radiohead list. There are some tracks I wouldn't put on a playlist on their own, but I never skip anything when listening to the album.

For Coldplay, A Rush of Blood to the Head is better than Parachutes - We Never Change is AWFUL. I'd add QOTSA's Songs for the Deaf and ...Like Clockwork

Did I miss Nevermind and Back In Black or has noone said that yet?!?!

I'm not the only one, it almost killed Robbie's entire career stone dead when he released OBID as the first single… it was only when Angels came out that he made it. I am a fan too! But there's usually at least one stinker on all of his albums.

Its funny because We never change Is a really special song for me, though shiver is the stand out track on it.

I would agree it's not necessarily an obvious single, but it's one of my favourites on the album. I listened to it all on Spotify on the way to work this morning :)

I love 'Old Before I Die' - the perfect riposte to My Generation. Rock 'n roll all growed up!

    Just saying, like!

And I love the line he used to stick in about 'living to receive channel 5'

Angels did save his career though!

    Bryan Adams - Reckless
    Maiden - Powersalve
Gary Moore - Still got the Blues
Dire Straits - Love Over Gold
Dokken - Back for the Attack
    AC/DC - Back in Black

Simple Minds - Once Upon a Time
Which reminds me - New Gold Dream and Street Fighting Years (even with some of its slightly overtaken-by-events content).

Really?  Even with "Back in the Village" on it?

    @Philly_Q

I would have put Leftoverture in there too, but certain segments of Magnum Opus don't do it for me, but it's a "nearly". I've not heard a lot of the Monolith Album, I'll have to stick it on Y.T.

    Cheers @viz

I'll have to add Michael Jackson - Thriller

    :-)
