As I see more posts I am reminded of more.....Marillion - Script For a Jesters Tear, Joe Satriani - Flying in a Blue Dream(I think The Phone Call is a great song!)  and Dire Straits, most of the early albums.  I also recall wearing out a vinyl copy of Black Sabbath - Technical Ecstasy.

John Martyn's 'One World' should have been on my earlier list too. Perfect from beginning to end.

    - signals
    - grace under pressure

    also
robin trower - bridge of sighs / for earth below

Masters of Reality - the Blue Garden album

And I really want to mention Clutch and Kyuss for their whole bodies of work, although I can't hand-on-heart pick out individual albums as "complete".

    @Philly_Q

I would have put Leftoverture in there too, but certain segments of Magnum Opus don't do it for me, but it's a "nearly". I've not heard a lot of the Monolith Album, I'll have to stick it on Y.T.

    Cheers @viz

I'll have to add Michael Jackson - Thriller

    :-)

List got even better the castman.

    Therapy?- Infernal Love
Troublegum probably has better songs, but as a whole cohesive album Infernal Love is superb.

I'd have had The Cult - Electric as well if it wasn't for their cringe worthy cover version of 'Born To Be Wild'.  ;)

Surely, everything on the album is cringeworthy, which is entirely the point of that album? :)

  • If only because I've listened to it this morning at wall shaking volume whilst getting my lab work done:
    Reuben- In Nothing We Trust

If Live albums are to be included surely The Ramones- It's Alive has to get a mention.
