    Simply stunning

My boss told me "dress for the job you want, not the job you have"... now I'm sat in a disciplinary meeting dressed as Batman.

Cheers for the earlier info on how you got the finish Andy - it certainly worked well. And basically just to say phwoar! looking at those last pics - gorgeous and unique, I'm sure the owner must be chuffed to bits. :)

Lovely stuff - I echo the "too good to be a Peavey" sentiments above. Beautiful.

    Thanks, folks  :)

These projects, at best, only go to offset some of the cost of the hobby BUT in terms of satisfaction they are absolutely priceless  :)>-

The owner came in and just looked at it, open mouthed, not wanting to plug it in for a long long time.  "I just want to look at it!" he said.  Eventually, he did plug it in and, wow, it sounded good!

I've since had multiple texts from him telling me how good it is to play, how good it sounds and that he's taken it into work to show all his workmates, and how good THEY think it is ;)

Makes it all worth while :)
...that and the very kind words from you generous folk

Thanks @Adam_MD and @axisus. I'm told by his bands bassist that the owner is using it at all his gigs and has pretty much abandoned his other 'proper' EVH which he's been playing for decades :). Very satisfying result...
