I’ve not heard of Revv amps either
I wonder who’s KOT they will model. They are quite a variable pedal in my experience. But if they get that right I will be delighted. I still haven’t done the last update tbh.

I have 2 and they are pretty different
the chip age maybe has an affect

Are they saying the update will be 99usd or does it relate mean helix native is now that cost for any one with helix hw?

The update is free. Helix Native will be $99 for all owners of Helix hardware.

Didn't want to start another thread and it seems after my initial interest the consensus is the same but thought I'd double check before making the jump.

Some say it is, some say it isn’t. I’m in the latter camp. Sounded very nice though... probably the nicest ‘amp in the room’ solution I’ve tried, and I’ve tried a few: Red Sound, various PA type speakers. If you want something to amplify your modeller that removes the microphone on the speaker from the equation, the Powercab is your only current choice as far as I know (apart from running through the FX return of an amp).

I have no idea on that one, but what I can confirm is that the SD Powerstage 170 into an 8 ohm 2x12" is easily loud enough for gigging even without PA assistance, and even though it's only putting out about half the power into an 8 ohm load.

In fact, a more accurate description would be "frighteningly loud". I chickened out when we couldn't hear the drums any more, and it didn't seem like it was running out of headroom...
