I've been enjoying listening to this of late, don't know if it counts as a guilty pleasure:

I'll probably but get slated for this but I genuinely think this is a well produced and well written tune.

Guilty pleasure or not, anyone bloke who states publicly that he listens to Abba is a big gay boy. My faves are Name of the game and Waterloo. In fact I love most of their hits.

Okay, I can't be the only one who thinks The Rubettes'  "Sugar Baby Love" is a work of brilliance?  Can I?
    It's even got a talk-over!  What's not to love!

Hopelessly devoted to you - definitely in the top 10 of songs ever written. And how ONJ manages to keep it fresh and youthful and yearning still, I don't know. There's still that excited tremor in her voice - it's lovely.

    What, like this? Nah… :)

"Only two things are infinite - the universe, and human stupidity. And I'm not sure about the universe." - Albert Einstein

Even though it was bastardised for a Yellow Pages ad, I've always liked this. The song itself has an interesting history.

Fantastic song, the Termeloes version is on YouTube featuring the pre-Jeff Christie vocals. They were going to release it as a single but chose not to as they wanted a slightly rockier sound after the success of their big hit "Call Me Number 1"

  • This, I like them anyway but this bit of Folk-rock goodness has forever been associated with Paul Gascoigne's version unfortunately.
