Aw shucks, fanks! Yeah it is, gonna sound quite different this time I think, mainly as I'm fucking everything up from the start this time but the drums are going be a lot more live sounding for a starter thanks to

I got rid of using the Rode, just wasn't sounding good at all. Replaced with a sm57 beta and using that with m201, seems to work well for what I want so far.

I've not tried the Beyer 201, is it much different to the 57?

Yeah, to my basic ears it sounds very similar if a little thicker, or maybe it's less bright on the high end. Either way, I like it. :-)
