Still plenty to do.  Onboard effects processor to fit, new pots and switchgear and I have to make a "go-baby-go" Nitrous Switch for mounting on the pickguard.

That looks amazing so far, need a shot of the full 'bird though!

Where did you get the pickguard done?!

*edit* I can't help but think you missed a trick by not using a fender mustang!

I will post up full shots when she is totally complete.  The pickguard, pickup surrounds and the trussrod cover was all drawn by me and then laser cut at one of my suppliers.  Im looking at doing my own range of custom pickguards and various bits n pieces.

The reason I didn't use a Fender Mustang - well basically the customer wanted a firebird, plus, investigations have revealed that one of the design team for Ford was responsible for designing the firebird as an answer to the popularity of the hot rods.  I believe the very same designer was responsible later on for having something to do with the mustang.  Also, as Eleanor has the black striped across the bonnet and body, I needed something that could also have the black stripes and look right.  The raised centre body lends itself really well to it I think.

Well, She has now gone to her new owner, who is totally over the moon with her.  So much so, that he has given me another order.  This time, for a mad looking NASCAR inspired V8 Charger guitar........Anyway, here are a couple of pro pics of Eleanor that I had done before she went.
