I also met the guitarist from Carter USM (Fruitbat?) when I supported them in 97. He too was a thoroughly charming bloke.
Nearly forgot but also met Louis Eliot from Kinky Machine/Rialto. He told us a story about how he'd snorted coke off Lemmy's thumb! He's some sort of Lord don't ya know (Louis not Lemmy) but he keeps very quiet about it.
Albert Lee a few times, first back in 80`s at the Borderline in London.

Recently. Andy Fraser: He's been my favourite bass player since his Free days. Thoroughly nice bloke, although I probably embarrassed myself by rambling on about old Free gigs I'd seen him play. Deke Leonard: I think the drugs have taken their toll, but a very friendly guy.
In the past: Lemmy, Tony McPhee, Mickey Moody, Jennifer Batten, Brian Eno, all the guys from Eddie and the Hotrods and the Hamsters. All approachable and easy to talk to. Except Lemmy, who was an arrogant tosspot.
Yep, I ran out of famous people early on so going for lookalikes now.
