    Fade to black, Metallica
Hallowed be thy name, Iron Maiden
    Comfortably Numb, Pink Floyd
Little Wing and All along the watchtower, Hendrix.

It could be a long one........And as there'll be a wake in the pub, these could be what's played on the juke box there. Just because they're my favourite songs.

Ringleader of the Cambridge cartel, pedal champ and king of the dirt boxes (down to 21)

Either Yakety Sax (Benny Hill Theme) or Song to the Siren (This Mortal Coil).

Maybe Song to the Siren on the way in to get them crying and then Yakety Sax as they leave to set up the do afterwards

Either way I reckon the missus with have my guitars on Ebay by the end of the day

My niece had "Footloose" as her "shit the curtain's closing and it's all over" song last year.

I've thought about this one before and these ones are a bit more sombre:-

Coming in - Letter from home - Pat Metheny

In the middle - The Great Gig in the Sky - Pink Floyd

Going out - Where were you - Jeff Beck (just the first quarter upto the high harmonics)

edit:  had a playlist but it needs re-working.  Which is daft in a way cos it's not as if I'll get to hear it when it's played "officially".

  • My Mum had Carmina Burana at hers as the curtains closed. My Uncle Neil had Blowin' in the Wind on the way in and Brown Sugar on the way out (he'd roadie'd for both!).

I'd go with Flying in a Blue Dream coming in, and Watermelon in Easter Hay on the way out.

But seriously people don't die, they live on forever in various guises.  If you feel death, it will be whilst you are still alive and you should probably do something about it.
