Bit of a mini rant and a funeral here I'm afraid.
After 6 years looks like the band I'm in has now gone the same way as all the other greats.
The singer has been causing problems for a while. being a complete diva, being lazy, refusing to rehearse, being rude to punters and landlords at gigs.
Before Christmas we lost our bassist who had enough of her. Managed to get a new bassist to replace who is excellent and really up for it. She's then refused to rehearse with us and won't do any pub gigs for less than 300 and within a half hour from her house - which is crazy.
Both the drummer and I have had enough, had a word with her about it and it all blew up.
Feel a bit relieved the stress will be gone but feel very sad. Did hundreds of gigs with this band and it was if I'm honest my only social outlet.
So do I try and find another band? we all know it's difficult as us guitarists are ten a penny or should I sell my live rig and just be a bedroom player again?

What he said, pain in the arse to find a new one but a paid gigging band will interest a few people and you could set up a few days of auditions and get someone new in. You could have them in on your terms too-ones that they also agree/like. Job done.

Seriously: If you value it, take/fetch it yourself
I think it's a bit unclear in the OP if it's just the singer being a PIA or singer and bassist?
There's a saying my old boss has which is - it doesn't matter how good looking they are they are giving someone some shit.
Perhaps get yourself a new male singer and get pissed and enjoy it. I personally don't really like female fronted pub bands - I assume it's covers you play?
I'm shit but have managed to put two bands together using mates and joinmyband.
You sound like an attractive proposition as a fully formed band with earning potential so should be easy for you.
