can you edit the name the banks, or are they only known as 1-99?

You can edit patch names but not bank numbers

so I could name patches as 'song 1 , song 2' ect?

I suck at remembering where things are saved for set songs :)

Yes you can do that. Banks remain numbers though.

    Yes.

The banks are 1-99 and patches are a, b and c.

The c patch is only possible if you have the footswitch set up for that.

The a b and C patches can be named as you like.

To get the most out of this unit I feel an fs 6 or 7 us a must..

I'm toying with the idea of using the control input jack for tap tempo, and having the pedal in A/B/C mode. Currently I just run it in standard mode which is one delay a time, and use the tap tempo on the pedal.

Are the MIDI patch numbers a bit like the following:

    Bank 1/Preset 1 - Patch 1
    Bank 1/Preset 2 - Patch 2
    Bank 2/Preset 1 - Patch 3
    Bank 2/Preset 2 - Patch 4

    ....etc?

How you getting on with the tap tempo implementation? No global tap I heard.

This pedal comes alive when you assign a switch to hold, or tap or whatever.

I used the FS6 or FS7 to achieve this.

It's a bit annoying, not going to lie. But because most of the algorithms react very naturally to the tap tempo, you can just activate the one you want and tap afterwards.

Most of our songs tend to be in a similar BPM range because we're unoriginal, so it has not been a big deal.

A bigger annoyance is that when in A+B simultaneous mode, the tap tempo doesn't apply to both delays.

As ever mate, bang on ! Its with footwswitch 'C' using an external device, is where this pedal comes alive.

  • Is it just me or have they just put the price by £20 on these? They've gone from £249 to £269 in most places. :( maybe they are selling a lot and have realised they are under priced compared to the competition?
