This is #1 on my currently very short GAS list, potentially replacing a DD-7 and an RC-2. I had a go on one in GAK before Xmas and liked what I heard. Some questions though...

Apart from the lack of drums (which might actually be a good thing) is there anything lacking on the looping side?

Do you find yourself tweaking or actually playing the damn thing? Flexibility is obviously a good thing but not when it overtakes from the business of just getting on and playing.

Anything annoying about it?

Easy to use live? Can you see the screen well enough in the dark?

I think one might be on the cards in a month or so.

I've not used it live yet. The looper is functional but wont please everyone. It' just a very basic start/stop/record type of deal.

Another fan here. Bought it cos I'm too tight to buy a Timeline to mimic the dual delay of Mr Timmons.

One very happy teddy here although I really should try some of the other features.....

For all the owners, do yourselves a favour and put it on the SFX setting with a 5ms delay time and 100% wet mix

brilliant pedal. I hate fiddly complicated pedals, and thankfully this isn't one of those, but can get every delay sound I could ever want. love it.

Can the DD-500 do something like the Helix mode on the Nemesis? Based on the demos that sounds great.
