Hmmm. Very reasonable. Although there is one on eBay for £65 plus shipping. Just wondering if it's worth trying, there's no saying it's not more than just the transformer that's at fault. 

Bought the head for £35 as a fixer upper so I guess £100 all in would be a bargain for one of these. 

The one I have crackles and smells like burning within seconds of turning on. Definitely a short in the TX somewhere, but dunno what caused it. Hmmm.
