No klon? Come on people it has fairy dust and unicorn tears in it
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

    (Ultra)
    I haven't got one! (Yet)

    I do :)

I'm not sure it is worth upgrading for given you're incorporating your B7K into a Helix rig IIRC.  The extra EQ points are literally just that, extra EQ points, they're not able to really change the texture of the sound in the way something like the character control on a VT Bass DI does.  You could surely emulate these with a parametric EQ in the Helix.  Personally I only use 250hz sometimes vs the 1khz on the B7K... I honestly think they did a great job first time round picking the EQ points on the non ultra pedal.
I did wonder whether it's only a better choice if it is used as the entire preamp into an FX return or a power amp.

I often use my VMTD that way, and have the B7K in front as a drive.

I've stuck with my original Carl Martin Plexitone, seems to work for me.

Mind you, this question is up there with 'Favourite colour/football team/sexual position'.....

Cripes, 350 is a lot for an overdrive pedal! I've never heard of it, but if you got it many years ago and never changed it may have saved you a fair bit of eBay selling...

After months of learning on an acoustic, this was the first time I ever played with distortion.  I've never been that excited about a stompbox since, so yeah.  Best. :)
