Certainly, just in a more gig friendly set up.

As a whole though they seem to be a little overlooked. People seem to gravitate towards the 5e3 or the Bassman.

I love my 5e3, and if I was in a blues band it would be the only amp I'd need.

The Bassman is too clean, I wouldn't get the volumes to get that thing to drive, so the 5f4 seems to be a nice middle ground. More head room than the 5e3 but with the same (ish) drive tone.
