In Poland, it is considered good luck to keep a carp scale in your wallet for the year.

They say it'll bring you money.

Fair play to them in some respects. Their only sources of income from the channel I guess will be YT adverts and the t-shirts, so working out a model which also provides something else for them makes sense,

I hope there isn't a forthcoming glut of special edition TPS pedals though. Sort of takes away the originality of the idea and makes it appear as if the show is pushing certain gear, which the absence of used to be one of the charms of their approach.

I like the show, but don't hold the guys on a pedestal. Their reference tone isn't quite the same as mine, so sometimes I find it hard to align with their thinking. But its a good channel to watch and learn from IMO.

It would make more sense to keep cash in your wallet. That way you'll have money.

    Those crazy Poles.

I haven't noticed any ads before/during the videos - I've assumed they haven't switched on monetisation. So think it's just the pedals and t-shirts.

I like TPS very much, but it doesnt sit well with me pushing products that Gigrig are then selling... Still, i guess thats how it works

fwiw I had assumed that the Dan-love for it was genuine, and this was a response to the fact that's it's pretty hard to get delivered to the UK (as some have found already)

The payments to thatpedalshowstore.com don't seen to be going to gigrig (which is Dan's) but to "D&M Adventures" - but yeah get the point.

imho TPS is still way more independent that any of the shop-owned demo channels

I too think they just genuinely liked it and then got a lot of requests on where you buy one and got a batch done
I seem to remember they met the guy at Namm and liked the pedal
