As he pointed out it would have taken a considerable about of planning and time to get that many ships there from around the uk. Absolutely nothing in the papers or TV or social media about it.
Coincidentally and timely, he’s just sent me these link's from one of their papers - why I’m responding to this post.
first line -
Successive Westminster governments have deceived the public by pretending that Trident is a British bomb when it’s actually American, according to a new expert report.

There are nuclear facilities all over the UK. Anyone could draw up such diagrams to cover the entire Uk.
When has a nuclear bomb ever gone off accidentally?
If there were a full-on nuclear war, you can assume that cities and RAF bases would be targetted, and there would be no need to worry about triggering secondary explosions (even though they shouldn't happen anyway), the primary attack weapon would be effective enough
While I'm at it, most of the opposition to nuclear in general, and in particular opposition to nuclear energy is childishly poorly thought out. How many people have ever been killed by nuclear power accidents compared to coal, oil, even renewable?

There have been several times more deaths in windfarming (133) than in nuclear power plants since windfarming started, even though windfarms produce less power overall. It's true that Uranium mining has killed a few hundred, but this is far far less than oil, gas and coal production, and can be improved upon.
The Next Big Future estimates that there are 100-150 deaths in the solar roofing industry worldwide each year.

"The missile uses a kind of stellar sighting guidance system and inertial navigation to take a reading from the stars to work out the missile’s position and make any adjustments necessary. They do not require GPS."
"A Freedom of Information request proving that the United Kingdom has full operational control over its Trident missile system is displayed below. It can be downloaded here."
I'm now staring outa the window thinking a laxer light show, at the wrong time and in the wrong place could end the world or have who ever 'owns' it shoot themselves in the foot.
