Ah. I'd not considered spare loops on that. They might be onto something.

You'd still only need one isolator though, and your existing ABY has one, does it not?

Yes my ABY box is isolated. They insisted that I'd still need two though but then they would wouldn't they LOL.

Gigrig got back to me and it can be done using the spare loops in my DA looper. Top / clever people work at gigrig, even if they don't answer my emails lol. However, I'll have to buy 2x Humdingers for the luxury ..... Ouch !

If you can post the scheme it might be possible to do it without such expense...

Is the Humdinger just used as an isolating transformer? If so, Orchid Electronics do a very good quality one for £20 each. Or there's a dual version in one box for £35 if that suits the setup better

    Hmm.

Certainly one of those can be replaced with your ABY set in Y mode.

Can't you just have a spare loop on the switcher they goes to the second amp and have that loop set up to only kick in on patch that combine it with the lazy j.

Thinks so. It would have to powered for this very reason. O must admit I like the small footprint compared to my ABY powered switch I have at the moment

Well yes I could but as I am lazy wotsit I wanted to avoid the hassle of re organising patch cables etc when only using a single amp which all the fxs would go to rather than a selection of pedals etc

From the drawing they're using the splitter as well - that's how they're doing the position move as well as the split to two amps. It's quite an elegant approach, and I don't think the Humdinger is necessarily bad value if you're using both outputs.

Why do you ask? I've had diagrams from them before which Dan has done for me . But yes we came to an arrangement ;)

It can be complicated, expensive and noisy....

I did all the G2 stuff into 2 amps. Then the FX8 turned up.

    It went then like this;

    1.) plug amp 1 in
    2.) plug amp 2 in
    3.) plug guitar in
    4.) switch on
    5.) perfect play

No messing about. Noise. Wires. Hassle.

Never had a problem with noise. Just wanted to put different fxs to different amps

Actually after all that I tried my cruiser into my Imperial and it sounded great.... as great as it does when into my J20. So just need a single GigRig humdinger now to run the two amps with all the fx going into the imperial :)

    Anyone selling their Humdinger LOL
