Is it cheaper to import his food?

He eats Origen which is readily available in the UK and Europe,  pretty much because the breeders recommended it. We have tried various other quality complete foods and he just seems to do well on it.  If his coat, skin and teeth are good, he has the appropriate amount of energy and his digestive system is working properly we are happy.

    Lovely Newfoundland.

I remember when my youngest was small and we saw one out with it's owner,  my son  asked why the man was taking a bear for a walk!
I had a very similar scenario, Frazer (aged 4) asked the lady "how do you afford to feed that dog, its massive" she was a bit taken aback

Mrs_bob wanted one of those at one point. I said I'd be happy with one as long as we could call it Chewbacca.

    We had kids instead :(

I met a Newfie a few months ago. Ace dogs. Even Sprocket was impressed.

Beautiful. I've seen these dogs working before it's great to watch them swimming.

Aww he's adorable. I love big dogs. My folks had four German Sheperds over the years. One of them was a giant teddy bear
I would love to change my username, but I fully understand the T&C's (it was an old band nickname). So please feel free to call me Dave.

Big, big mistake. Just showed this thread to my wife. We have a lovely old cocker spaniel who probably hasn't got too many walks left in him and we both agreed that when he goes to the big kennel in the sky that would be it with pooches until we're both at home full time.

Then she saw Mr Boo, love at first sight and scouring the interweb for as much info on them as she can. I've got a feeling my newly painted hallway could be slobber covered before the year end. Thanks Richardj!
