Here is my treasured natural finish 1980 Tokai ST55 

Super light weight  at about 6lbs 10oz ish 

2 piece highly figured sen body but almost impossible to see the join

all original hardware,pots etc

Grey Back U pickups which sound amazing

lovely C neck plays very smooth and fast

good original frets and tuners

truss rod is good

one small ding ( about 3mm ) on upper bout and a few other v minor marks from use over 35+ years - amazingly good condition

neck needs v little relief

great to play and with stunning tones - classic strat quack on pos 2 + 4 - rich neck pickup and almost tele like bridge pickup

v resonant - you can feel the strings resonate thru the body

possible trade would be a boutique double edge bound alder tele ( lightwieght) or tokai early 1980s flying V or tokai early 80s explorer 

or possibly a boutique 20w amp combo or head
