It's a great simple design that just works.  The only slight let down is the use of a vinyl sticker for the labeling rather than screen printed.  But that has no effect on the sound so I can forgive it!

There is a 24v version but the original can also be run at that voltage if wanted.  I just had that mod added to save me messing around with different power supplies.

The broadcast is a fantastic pedal. As to whether it is a preamp, I'm going to try it straight into the fryette and let you know!
