Is it not a bit sly and unethical what they're doing? Trying to appear as if they're located in the UK but actually being in Germany...

Even if prices, customer service and delivery times are all great, I still think there's a lack of transparency.
Some stuff is stocked and sold in the UK, I think they still have some physical stores. Just the main warehouse is in Koln. It's the new Global way.

  • I honestly can't wait until Thomann etc can charge whatever the hell they want in the uk market, I think it's going to be a bloodbath.

On lesser and more standards-compliant gear, I really don't mind. When you've just paid £370 for a delay pedal which has a non-standard power supply, you kind of expect that you're going to get one that a) fits, and b) works. One out of two isn't really good enough.

It's now 10 days after I placed the order...still waiting...

Not so sure - they're already more expensive than pretty much anybody in the UK. That just means that (until prices start rising again here), people will shop with them less.

Agreed it could go either way........
i was expecting a total slashing to bully the uk market and establish a more dominant position, but then I suppose they could also charge a premium on the uk.
