Their husbands relative wealth. Middle aged Russian woman in the Datcha in Courchval look sculpted, gym toned, very expensively dressed and make for nice eye candy.

Between Agios Nikolaos and Elounda.  Havania Apartments.  Super scorchio today...  10am and it's boiling!  Just off to a little beach to get an all-over tan :-)

Ah, good. Are you planning a trip across to Spinalonga?  I found it quite eerie but moving, although it may have changed in the 6 years since I was there...

Yeah, id also recommend a boat trip from Elounda to Spinalonga. Creepy place, but it was made better by the BBQ afterwards in a little secluded bay.

Nothing better than a BBQ after visiting an old Leper colony...

We did spinalonga when we were last here 20 years ago.  I can't imagine it's changed much.

I really ought to hire a boat next time. There are so many beautiful places that are only accessible from the sea.  I always think about it at the end of a holiday - it's too late now for this one, but I'll sort it out for next time.  Not cheap mind - 40 Euros per hour.  My dream is to charter a small yacht and sail around the coast for a couple of weeks, but that is bonkers expensive.

 Whenever I'm asked what my idea of paradise is, it's always to have a small villa on a deserted little Greek island with a pontoon and a yacht.  I'm not sure how I'd handle the isolation, but I could always have mates over to stay.  It's just a question of money, and I doubt I'll ever have enough to fulfil that dream, even a small-scale version of it, before my life is over.
