  • The lizards that built the pyramids would come for me in their airships and rescue me, taking me instead to a planet with internet.
Please note my communication is not very good, so please be patient with me

  • A lot of businesses and organisations would find it very hard to function.  We wouldn't be able to chat on here and would have to play guitar or talk to our families.  It would be horrible.

It's pretty broken as far as I can tell.

  • Chuck Norris will repair it then hunt down the person who broke it and make them cry.

I'll assume the OP meant "break - for a long time" since obviously it can & does break down every now and again, for me (I only have home broadband and the phone, and they aren't brilliantly reliable!)

First thing for me would be I'd watch more telly instead - but it would be full of BBC News 24 going on about the internet being broken, for ages, and would soon get boring. Then I'd probably be concerned after a week or two because my bank account is one of these internet ones - I'd need to somehow find their phone number out and phone them, wait in a massive queue, then to be told they're gradually converting accounts to normal ones and I'm 5,636,345 in line so it will be around Xmas 2018 before I can check my balance again.

I'd need to go and buy a bunch of books on stuff, probably including an actual Haynes manual for the car (at the moment, if I need torque wrench settings I just google for them) and some kind of book on how to play the guitar too.

Oh, and I'd probably end up going to a record shop and buying albums again, based on what I'd heard on the radio or on how the cover looked (never a brilliant idea, from experience).

Its not all bad news though - no more Chappers and the Captain!! (Only joking.....)

I know its a "what if" scenario but I've started downloading it, just in case.......

(My internet's going awfully slow now, maybe there is some truth in it?)

Wouldn't really be necessary. It "breaks" and fixes itself millions of times a day. Look up Border Gateway Protocol :)

  • If the internet broke , I believe that we'd get less threads with click bait titles.

I reckon there'd be fewer words or phrases that I don't understand, like 'click bait', 'sock puppet', 'straw man', etc....
