What hair styling products do you use?

What's Hot
Just wondering what products you men use to style your hair?

I use Johnny's Chop Shop hair clay, grooming cream or hair gel if I have lots of time to style my hair.  I normally start off with the grooming cream, dry my hair off, then finish with the clay or gel.

If I'm in a rush I use Fudge Matte Head texture paste or TiGi Hard To Get i.e. I use these when I'm working.

Do shampoo and conditioner count?  Or are they "pre-styling"?

My hair is short enough that styling isn't really an option.
I play guitar because I enjoy it rather than because I’m any good at it

  • I used to be Mr Clippers, number 2 all over. But it is such a middle-aged, middle-Britain classic, isn't it? That's not meant to sound bad, but it's everywhere. It's Mondeo hair. Again, nothing wrong with that per se. Part of my problem was that I used to wait too long between cuts. Then, about 4 years ago, I decided to grow my frankly embarrassingly weedy facial hair, so that was a bit of a break with the norm. It looks shit, but it turns out that my bare upper lip looks worse.

Then, towards the shit end of the painful haircut -> hair looks shit -> haircut cycle, I decided to leave it and it's growing fast. I don't style as such, but I put some "hair tonic" splash on, namely Pashana Eau De Portugal. I think it's the oil-free version, so it's doing bugger all.

    I have not.
I've tried a bunch of different pomades and this is the only one that seems to hold properly but not end up all over my pillowcase.

  • Crisp n Dry normally.

If I'm at my villa on Capri I treat myself to Felipe Berio.

I make do with beef dripping when I'm on my Black Country estate.

It's meant to be good, I don't use pomades myself but I see it recommended a lot.
