With work and family an average of around 2 a month suits me fine.
I could gig a whole lot more if I was prepared to compromise on this, but I just can't be arsed.

Full time work as well. I'm permanently knackered.
In a normal year...20-30.
These "how much do you gig" threads can be a little bit divisive sometimes... those who don't stay quiet, or can feel defensive.
To be honest I don't see playing a lot of gigs as a badge of honour or proof of anything anymore. Some of my most creative times have been when I've been bandless. I know a professional guitar player - you know him too - who will not pick up his guitar between paying gigs, ever. So it's a funny old thing

Also includes a few occurrences of two gigs in one day.
If only they were all good earners!
