THR10 with a band

What's Hot
I took my Yamaha THR10C to band practice - and was pleasantly surprised :)

It was a quiet session - since our drummer couldn't make it, we decided to drop the volumes a bit and focus on vocals.  Still, it was competing with a bass amp, and vocals plus guitar or keys through the PA - and kept up very well.

Since I don't find pedals work all that well with the THR10C, I left my board at home - so it was a very stripped down rig.  Quite refreshing ... although I am quite looking forward to cranking up the big amp next time we're a full band.

I'm trying to imagine the scene but I just can't.

John Herington says he's used his live into a PA for small gigs and he's no slouch.

Remember, it's easier to criticise than create!

Paul Gilbert is using one for quiet rehearsals now as well.

I play guitar and take photos of stuff. I also like beans on toast.

I've used the headphone out for DI recording. With decent monitors I'd happily send headphone out to a PA and gig like that.
