I saw it tonight walking home from training.

    It looked like the moon.

    Nothing more special than normal.

It was bigger tonight, like being at the equator, albeit it had a chunk missing.

The sky over Ireland was completely clouded over on the main days but last night it was clear.  The moon rose in the ENE direction and it was clearly 'bigger' than normal.  And it was beginning to wane.  Mrs Rocker, using her birdwatching binoculars, could clearly see the mountains and craters on the moon.  Impressive stuff.

Those of you who were unimpressed, are you sure it was the moon you looked at?  Stars are slightly smaller than the moon but there are more of them in the sky.  Kick off the shackles guys and enjoy these great moments in time.
