Cheers @Nitefly I'm Moray born and bred. I'm in the heart of whisky country, I'm 10 minutes from the beach and an hour from the Cairngorms. There are woods all around me and the air is clean, like the water.
It takes a while to get anywhere but I love it here. You're all welcome!

You'd be surprised @RandallFlagg, we have a bit of a microclimate here and regular good weather.

I was up your end of the country a few weeks ago. Stayed over in Inverness, went to Chanory Point to see if we could spot dolphins, stopped in at the Highland Wildlife Park near Kingussie (awesome Snow Leopards and Wolves) and drove back through the Cairngorns. Beautiful countryside and lovely people.

Nice one. It's late in the year for dolphins at Chanonry Point, they chase the salmon there but it's not salmon season.. The dolphins are still in the area and were spotted at Lossiemouth marina the other day.

Is where you live something like where they filmed the Bond film and the house called Skyfall ?
That to me was utopia and if i have any dreams of living somewhere nice, it's that. Not such a massive house but *that* kind of terrain and remote location.

If that's not where you are, do you know where that is?
What life that would be !

@Alnico, The Scottish landscapes were around Glencoe. It's a stunning drive along the A82 and my favourite mountain is there - Buachaille Etive Mor.
The Skyfall house scenes were shot in...Hankley Common in Surrey!
