So this is a ruined/modified  Goldtop with cheap far eastern pickups, yeah?

    What a shame.

    Nice shop in Berwick!
    Nice but overpriced I fear?

    £1475 for a recent Midtown!

I just popped in to admire the stock, particularly the yam sg's..
so if you fancy a reissue of a guitar they never made in a colour they never used then it probably isn't too overpriced.

  • Are there rules about being a dealer and only using the forum to sell. If there arent can we make some. Imagine if say Andertons advertised all their stock her?

I am not clear from the wording if the OP is even claiming that this is a Dick Knight. Or if that is important.

Also....I don't think a Reverse Chronological Order Conversion is a thing.
The last beat up/husk '69 Les Paul we had  in the Classifieds was a couple of years ago and....I think.....sold for about £2k or less.

There are... Just as there are rules about posting negative comments in for sale threads. Best thing we can all do imho is stop bumping this and let it sink.

£6,000 would be a bargain if it was a '68 in good nick. It isn't, though.

Still over-priced but Historic Makeovers are recognised as specialists in improving Gibson Historic Reissues by using Brazilian rosewood fingerboards, proper aniline dies and authentically shaped neck profiles.

An Historic Makeover will be much closer to a real '59 than a molested '68 with an unattractive top, Crayola back and cheap Chinese pickups.
