On that subject, am I the only one who doesn't find "Only Fools..." at all funny?
I can assure you that you are not the only one.

It was a different time, when things were less funny.

  • Only Fools was terrible ( despite my regular use of the phrase Trigger's Broom) .

I recommend changing to citing the Ship of Theseus.

In the early days Only Fools was good, it was a small comedy programme that knew its limits and its context. Then we ended up with uber-Del Boy, who just wasn't believable any more.

  • Mrs Mudslide and I saw MM live at the NIA. He had a cold and his sniffles could be heard in great detail over the pa. The audience had the "I've paid for this so I'll bloody well laugh" attitude despite all of the material previously being shown on telly. Shite.

We've seen Stew a number of times - hopefully there will be enough England flags available now that Paul Nuttalls is the leader of the UKIPs.

I saw Hicks live twice - he was quite something; challenging, thought-provoking, angry, intimidating - and on occasion - amusing.

I think most of us have died on stage at one time or another.
    I know I have.
