Something else that's looking eye-catching is your KM-II - it's looking very shiny at the moment, last (hopefully) coat of oil went on this morning so we're nearly there
Latest build to be completed; custom 6-string KM-II with Black Walnut body, Maple/Black Walnut neck, Cocobolo fretboard, Gotoh hardware and BKP Nailbomb covered set, finished with Tru-Oil...

Next build I'll be completing is a custom carve-top KM-I - Wenge on Mahogany body, 5-piece Maple/Purpleheart neck, Ebony fretboard, Floyd Rose, Schaller M6 tuners and BKP Cold Sweat (N)/Miracle Man(B). The first coat of Tru-Oil was laid this afternoon, aim to be finished by end of first week of May...
Finished with Tru-Oil, our first KM-III is being put together now...
Ash body w/Zebrano top, Wenge/Sapele neck w/white pinstripes, Ebony fretboard...

2 weeks of Tru-Oil coats to fill the Wenge pores/grain and we're almost there (custom 6-string KM-I carve-top)…

Started work on this next build today, which makes use of this stunning Ziricote top and Macassar Ebony fretboard blank. The guitar itself will be the first Kemp Guitars DC and defines my personal taste in specification - natural woods and minimal features. Watch this space!
That Ziricote top now glued to a Sapele body, shaped and edges rounded over (going for traditional styling with this one). Neck is also Sapele (three-piece) with Ziricote headstock veneer.
Working on the new DC today, decided to carve out a scoop in the lower cutaway. Looking at it now, it needs to be deeper, yes? Think 80s ESP Horizon
Opened up that scoop a little more today... much happier
So, the DC is nearing completion now and specification is confirmed as Gotoh TOM and tuners, Seymour Duncan Distortion pickup (zebra-coil pickup shown is for display purposes only) and Tru-Oil finish...
