  • It varies. Usually I get 7-8 hours, but then some nights I wake up at 1 or 2 and can't get back to sleep so I get 4-ish hours. I'm 47 and still lose sleep with my 1st world problems over which guitar-related toy to buy.
    Some folks like water, some folks like wine.

  • I get anywhere between 4 and 9 hours depending on work. What's annoying is on a work day I struggle to get out of bed, but on a weekend when I need more sleep I'm usually wide awake by 8

    Up at 5 today for work.. bloody retail. Usually 4 is my minimum and 6 max.. I'd like more though it just doesnt happen.

    Bedtime chez Chateau Sporky is about 10:30. Mondays are a 6:30 start, rest of the week usually 7:30, weekends normally 8:00 but today I overslept until 9:15.

    I have a rare blessing in the form of being able to sleep anytime, anywhere. I often power nap during the day, crash out on trains and planes and never really get sleep deprived. I fall asleep immediately at night and wake up around 7-8am averaging around 7 hours a night and feel totally awake when I get up. 

    Still a real coffee addict though!

    FOUR HOURS ??!!! Jesus.... that's a nap for me !  My absolute, non-negotiable minimum is six hours - and I can't sustain that for more than two consecutive nights.  My optimal time is a full eight hours - 11pm to 7am, but I rarely manage that.  Most nights it's between 6h30 and 7h30.

    Most of the time I'm in bed around 11 and up at 7.
    I don't like that routine to change much, especially if it means getting up before 6- it screws my whole day.
    I prefer 7-8 hours sleep, can't function on less than 6.

  • Bed late up early, very little sleep, certainly no continual sleep for more than 1hour, wake up at least every hour when I move in my sleep as my bones lock so moving is very painful.

    2300-0530 during the week, and about 2330-0800 on the weekend.. I really should try and get more, but I try and do an 45-60 minutes of guitar in the evenings before going off to bed. I do notice, if I can get an extra 30 minutes during the week it does make a big difference.

  • 1130 - 0610 on a school night, I can make it to 0830 on a weekend every now and again. I like lying in bed but I'm crap at it, the wife's an utter pitmaster

    Easy in summer but goes a bit 10pm to 5:30am in winter.
