    I have a Play 3 - amazing, and over the holidays got a Playbar and 2 Play 1s as the rear pair.

    Sounds absolutely amazing - took the decision to buy new, the residuals are just too good to make second hand worth it.

    The value they hold on second hand market is ridiculous. I would recommend the second gen. Play 5s though. I A/B tested the new and old one in a high-fi store here in Edinburgh called James Morrow. I know sound is subjective but I heard a clear quality difference.
