Well I've got me a box of Standard fireworks and a bottle of Babycham, sat here in the back garden nice and early to beat the crowds, it's a bit cold and damp, I hope the Roman Candle will light.

Up at 6:30 tomorrow morning to take MrsTheWeary to work but up until about 12:30 tonight to sit with the dog whilst people set off fireworks. For whatever fucking stupid reason they do that. Joy to the world...

Happy New Year - always a quiet one for us with very young kids and no close family here to either celebrate with or sit the kids while we go out!

I'm also on call from work so can't even have a celebratory beer or six...

Looks like it's shite TV with the Mrs and dipping in and out the forum on me phone - like most nights!

My best new year ever for me was as a teenager, at home with the flu, Star Wars marathon on TV, episodes IV-VI, the whole set at the time. I have spent it home as often as I could after that, much better than following the herd in some overpriced club or restaurant.

Happy New Year guys , another quiet one for me .

Just about to open a bottle of scotch ............. or that Champagne I've had since last year ?

Then its PS4 or a film ......

And just 3 more hours left for yet another celeb to pop off,

 hopefully not , fingers crossed ,

... .. although nothing would surprise me after this years tragic crop.

We're just sat with Kerrang tv on listening to 'Wonderwall' being murdered by the karaoke party next door.

I would say singers but really that's just not an apt description of the screechy warbling that's happening.
