If you are buying a guitar from the US, my understanding is that it's not just the exporter who has to get an export certificate.  You also need to get a UK/EU import certificate.  I think @guitars4you is the expert on this stuff.
not an expert - but yes you need an export from the USA and an Import to the EU - timing is important on this to avoid good s sat in a transit lounge for weeks - You can't apply for the EU version until you get your USA export version

I don't know about parts as in Warmouth - can't see why it is different - granted it can be sent by post and maybe avoid various channels controlled by customs authorities

    I hated maple boards.

    I now love them.
I would like your opinion then @Bridgehouse

I own one guitar with a maple board (of 12)

    I don't feel like I like it, but I don't know why...

I also am GASsing an Ed O'Brien strat, that has a maple board..

Why don't I like maple boards?!?!  How did you get over it?
You are the dreamer, and the dream...

I posted that over a year ago, and tbh I don’t remember why.

It was probly sarcasm at the CITES thing.

I have one maple board bass and I would say that I wholly prefer rosewood still.
